And sometimes that can be hard to do. It’s so easy to find our imperfections. We’re too heavy or too thin, too tall or too short, not smart enough, fast enough, strong enough. It’s can be easy to get into that way of thinking.
And it can be subtle as well. This affirmation isn’t just for the people who are openly critical of themselves. It’s for those of us who don’t notice it until you find yourself stressed out over something. And if you dig deep and ask yourself what’s going on, you may find it has to do with one of your imperfections.
So today, I invite you to join me in affirming “my imperfections make me perfect”. Reflect on how comfortable you are in your own skin. Notice when you’re not and ask yourself what you can do in that moment to be more appreciative and loving to yourself.
