I guess the first question is, do you notice the thoughts that don’t serve you so that you can create better feeling stories?
That is the first step. When something happens and we ‘suffer’, as Katie says in the quote, it’s not the thought causing our pain, it’s our attachment to it. Think of a situation happening right now that is causing you to suffer. Ask, what is the thought/belief that is causing me pain?
Today, I invite you to join me and affirm “I question my thoughts and create better feeling stories for those that don’t serve me” and let’s start noticing those thoughts that cause us pain. And, if our goal is peace, let’s question and release the ones that cause us pain.
