Do you believe everything you think? Do you believe everything someone else says? Today, take some time to stop and notice the thoughts you think. Notice what you say to yourself and how what you say makes you feel.
Katie says “Don’t believe everything you think.” I remember a time a few months after my surgery, a friend called and asked me if I’d like to join her at zumba class. I remember saying to her “no thank you, I’m not strong enough yet”. As soon as the words came out of my mouth I noticed how it made me feel and I didn’t like it. I then asked “is it true?” Maybe I am strong enough. Why don’t I try?
Today, I invite you to join me in affirming “I investigate my thoughts and only believe the ones that make me feel good” and let’s start practicing exactly that.
